• Steve and Kevin Wampler have developed a significant collection of Unicon libraries along with an improved automatic documentation generator.
• Art Eschenlauer has announced a public alpha-level test release of Uunit, a Unicon unit test tool inspired by Junit.
• The Windows distribution is now normally built using GCC. A page containing the free Win32 development tools for building Unicon is available over at NMSU.
• The Unicon compiler uses a novel tool called Merr to maintain its syntax error messages; that tool is included in the Unicon distribution, but is easily usable in any YACC application and now has a website of its own: http://unicon.sourceforge.net/merr/
